Hello!
I’m so glad you found me. My name is Lacey and I am a photographer who takes portraits of families, high school seniors, bands, professionals, newborns, pets, fiancés, and brides and grooms using old school 35 mm and medium format film. You can find out more about my photo process in the What to Expect section. Here you’ll find out more about me. I know that having your picture taken can be a vulnerable experience so having an idea of who the person is behind the camera can be somewhat helpful.

I’ve come to this life as a portrait photographer after working for over 20 years in New York City as a Photo Editor for magazines. I now live a quieter life with my baby and senior rescue hound on the shoreline of Connecticut but have held New England in my heart ever since I went to school in Providence at the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD).
I am a laid back person who also gets all the boxes checked on the to do list. I am gifted at reading the room and am very sensitive to people’s needs. Baby blowouts and toddler meltdowns do not phase me. I am a mother but I have also put a lot of time into meditation and mindfulness work :) I believe you will find me very easy to work with.
I am comfortable with and enthusiastic about all ages, identities, body types, family types, and dis/abilities. If you’d like to include an animal friend in any of your images, I’m more than enthusiastic about that as well.
Here are some of the locations I serve as a photographer: New Haven, Stanford, Hartford, Shoreline — Connecticut. Also: Rhode Island, the Berkshires and Western Massachusetts, parts of New York (including NYC, Westchester, and the Hudson Valley). Bottom line: just ask!
Personal Tidbits: In case this means something to you: I’m a Libra sun, Taurus rising, Pisces moon. I am a dual citizen with my second citizenship in Ireland (my son is named after my Irish grandfather). My favorite movies are Hitchcock’s Rebecca, and Muppets Take Manhattan. When I was 19, I had a summer job as a backup dancer for an Elvis impersonator in upstate New York.
